What it is
Laguna Clay Company is a clay manufacturer and ceramics supply house that sells moist clay, glazes, kilns, pottery wheels, refractories, tools, dry materials, and stains through its official online shop and branch locations. The About page says Laguna Clay was founded in 1976 in California and today operates three locations with distributors worldwide. It is not a teaching studio and not a membership guild.
Who it’s for
Studio potters, schools, production shops, and hobbyists who need Laguna moist clay bodies, glazes, equipment, or materials shipped or picked up via will-call/retail at the California, Florida, or Ohio branches. This is a manufacturer and supply house with an official shop URL, not a drop-in class studio.
Why it’s listed
This is a first-party supplier operation with printed branch street addresses, will-call and retail hours, a 2026 Labor Day closure notice, an official online shop with on-page moist-clay per-pound prices, and clear order-processing rules — not a scraped directory card and not an Amazon storefront.
