What it is

Axner Pottery Supply is a ceramic and pottery supply company at 490 Kane Court in Oviedo, Florida (greater Orlando), selling through its own web store at axner.com. The About page says Axner was “founded in 1978 by working potter Howard Axner” and that “Axner.com now boasts the longest running ceramic supply webstore.” Axner merged with Laguna Clay Company in July 2006, and in July 2017 Terrakotta, Inc. completed an asset purchase of Axner.com. The site footer reads “Part of the Laguna Clay Company Network. Axner and Laguna are trade names of Terrakotta, Inc.”

Who it’s for

Potters, studios, schools, and ceramics programs who want to order clay, glaze, raw materials, and equipment online for shipping, or pick up at the Oviedo showroom. Local potters can also sign up for workshops.

Why it’s listed
