Clay King

Category: Supplier Also called: Clay-King; Clay-King.com; Clay King Retail Store & Studio Last checked: 2026-09-23

What it is

Clay King (Clay-King.com) is a Spartanburg, South Carolina ceramic supply retailer with a first-party WooCommerce shop for moist clay, glazes, kilns, pottery wheels, tools, and studio equipment. Official homepage: online ceramic supply store plus a Clay-King Retail Store and Studio on Gossett Road; brands stocked include Laguna, Standard, Mammoth, Amaco/Brent, Shimpo, Skutt, and others. Local kiln-firing services and in-store pickup are published on first-party pages. It is not a membership guild and not a public teaching-studio brand as primary identity (retail site notes local classes/workshops exist for Upstate SC potters — supply shop remains the listing focus).

Who it’s for

Studio potters, schools, and home ceramists who want moist clay, glaze, kilns, wheels, and tools from the official Clay-King.com shop or Spartanburg retail/warehouse pickup; local makers using published kiln-firing services. Official shop URLs are on clay-king.com — not Amazon/affiliate scrapes.

Why it’s listed

This is a first-party ceramic supplier with a live official store, printed Spartanburg retail and warehouse addresses, citeable clay and equipment dollar prices, and published firing-service rates — not a scraped directory card.
