What it is

Bailey Pottery is a Kingston, New York ceramics equipment manufacturer and national ceramic-supply house that sells Bailey-built slab rollers, extruders, kilns, pugmills, and clay mixers plus moist clay (Standard, Tucker’s, Laguna), glazes, tools, Brent and Shimpo wheels, and studio equipment through its official online shop and appointment showroom / curbside warehouse. The About Jim & Anne Bailey page says Jim Bailey released his first commercial piece of equipment — the 30” slab roller — in 1976, founding Bailey Pottery Equipment after working with a Kingston machine shop; Anne Shattuck Bailey joined and opened the Ceramic Supplies division in 1984. Equipment is manufactured in Kingston, NY. It is not a membership guild. A showroom gallery (The Bailey Collection) is on site, but this listing treats Bailey Pottery as a manufacturer and supply house with an official shop URL, not as a drop-in class studio.

Who it’s for

Studio potters, schools, production shops, and hobbyists who need Bailey-manufactured studio equipment, moist clay boxes, glazes/tools, or materials shipped from Kingston or picked up curbside at the Ten Broeck Avenue warehouse. This is a manufacturer and supply house with an official shop URL, not a guild membership hall.

Why it’s listed

This is a first-party supplier operation with a printed showroom / warehouse street address, published phone and showroom hours, curbside-pickup rules, an official online shop (baileypottery.com) with on-page moist-clay 50 lb box prices and quantity tiers plus equipment list/sale prices, and written ordering / shipping policies — not a scraped directory card and not an Amazon storefront.
