What it is

Ceramic Supply Chicago is an Elk Grove Village, Illinois ceramics supply house that sells Standard moist clay (50 lb boxes), dry clay mixes, glazes (Standard, Duncan, Amaco, Mayco, Spectrum), tools, Brent and Shimpo pottery wheels, kiln furniture, and Skutt kilns (quote process) through its official Shopify shop and public retail store / warehouse. The Clay collection and FAQs describe wet Standard bodies as pugged and de-aired, packed as two 25 lb bags per 50 lb box, with Chicago-area delivery and store pickup / shipping options. The FAQs state they do not offer classes (only occasional visiting-artist workshops). It is not a membership guild. This listing treats Ceramic Supply Chicago as a supply house with an official shop URL, not as a teaching studio.

Who it’s for

Studio potters, schools, production shops, and hobbyists who need Standard moist clay boxes, glazes/tools, Brent/Shimpo wheels, Skutt kiln quotes, or materials ordered from ceramicsupplychicago.com or picked up at the Delta Lane Elk Grove Village retail store. This is a supply house with an official shop URL, not a guild membership hall.

Why it’s listed

This is a first-party supplier operation with a printed retail street address, published weekday hours (plus second-Saturday hours), an official online shop (ceramicsupplychicago.com) with on-page moist-clay 50 lb box prices and quantity tiers plus equipment list prices, and written pickup / delivery / kiln-quote notes on first-party pages — not a scraped directory card and not an Amazon storefront.
